Era como cualquier otra noche: mi esposo y yo nos habíamos instalado para una cena informal en nuestro restaurante favorito. Hablamos sobre nuestro día, nos pusimos al día con las últimas noticias y discutimos nuestros planes para el fin de semana. Pero en algún momento entre los aperitivos y el plato principal, surgió una idea.
"¿Sabes lo que siempre quise hacer?" Dije, sacando una servilleta y un bolígrafo de mi bolso.
"¿Qué es eso?" preguntó mi marido, despertado la curiosidad.
"Siempre quise crear un sitio web para ropa, accesorios y zapatos de mujer. Tengo muchísimas ideas y creo que sería un gran éxito".
Mi marido me miró con escepticismo. "¿Pero tienes alguna experiencia con ese tipo de cosas? Los sitios web son difíciles de crear y mantener".
Me encogí de hombros. "No, no tengo ninguna experiencia. Pero estoy seguro de que puedo aprender. Y realmente creo en esta idea. Creo que podría ser algo grande".

Esta es la mejor decisión que tomé. Había trabajado durante más de una década y la repentina pérdida de ingresos fue un shock. Pero cuando empezamos a hacer planes para el futuro, recordé nuestra servilleta. ¿Podría ser esta la oportunidad que necesitábamos para crear finalmente el sitio web de nuestros sueños?
Decidimos intentarlo. Pasamos horas analizando plantillas de sitios web, investigando tendencias de moda e intercambiando ideas de marketing. Fue mucho trabajo, pero también increíblemente emocionante. Por primera vez en mucho tiempo, sentimos que estábamos haciendo algo verdaderamente nuestro.

It was just like any other night - my husband and I had settled down for a casual dinner at our favorite restaurant. We talked about our day, caught up on the latest news, and discussed our plans for the weekend. But somewhere between the appetizers and the main course, an idea sparked.
"You know what I've always wanted to do?" I said, taking out a napkin and a pen from my purse.
"What's that?" my husband asked, curiosity piqued.
"I've always wanted to create a website for women's clothing, accessories, and shoes. I have so many ideas and I think it would be really successful."
My husband looked at me skeptically. "But do you have any experience with that kind of thing? Websites are hard to create and maintain."
I shrugged. "No, I don't have any experience. But I'm sure I could learn. And I really believe in this idea. I think it could be something big."
So we started to write down our ideas on the napkin. We talked about the kind of website we wanted to create, the types of clothes and accessories we would feature, and the marketing strategies we would use. By the time dessert arrived, we had a rough outline of our plan.
But life got in the way. We both had full-time jobs and other responsibilities that left little time for pursuing our dream. The napkin got shoved into a drawer and forgotten about, until one day, I quitted my job.
This is the best decision that I made. I had worked for over a decade, and the sudden loss of income was a shock. But as we started to make plans for the future, I remembered our napkin. Could this be the opportunity we needed to finally create our dream website?
We decided to give it a shot. We spent hours pouring over website templates, researching fashion trends, and brainstorming marketing ideas. It was a lot of work, but it was also incredibly exciting. For the first time in a long time, we felt like we were doing something that was truly our own.
And it paid off. We website launched in April 2023 with the help of God in which we hope to meet your expectations. I found a new job that I loved, but we continued to work on the website, expanding our product lines and reaching out to new customers.
Looking back, I'm grateful with God for that casual night at the restaurant, and for the decision to take a chance on our dreams. His plan are perfect. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. And every time I see a woman wearing one of our outfits, I'm reminded of how far we've come - from a napkin scribbled with ideas, to a successful business that we created together.
